Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon Ground mustard
  • ¼ cup Soy sauce
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 2 cloves Garlic finely minced
  • 2 tablespoon Heavy cream

Instructions

  • Add the ground mustard, water, and soy sauce to a jar or a measuring cup. Stir well to dissolve the ground mustard, until there are no visible clumps.
3 tablespoon Ground mustard, ¼ cup Soy sauce, ¼ cup Water
  • Add the minced garlic, heavy cream, and sesame seeds to the mustard mixture. Stir well to combine.
1 tablespoon Sesame seeds, 2 cloves Garlic, 2 tablespoon Heavy cream
  • Store in the frige until you're ready to serve, or serve right away.

Notes

Adjust the mustard: Start with less mustard powder, and add more to your taste. Ground mustard can get overly spicy and overpowering, so if you prefer a milder, mellow flavor, less is best.
For a thicker sauce: If you prefer a thicker dipping sauce, add a few spoons of mayonnaise or sour cream to the mixture.
Watch the salt: Soy sauce typically adds more than enough salt to this sauce, so you will not need to add any additional. As always, give the sauce a taste and adjust to your liking.
