Bush’s® BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders

The taste of long weekends is barbecue. The quintessential barbecue food is none other than delicious pulled pork. Pile that delicious barbecue pulled pork on a slider bun, with coleslaw and Bush’s® Brown Sugar Hickory beans, and you’ve got the perfect celebration for summer long weekends!  Bush Brothers & Company has been a family company for over 100 years, and I highly recommend choosing Bush’s® to keep in your pantry!

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Season the pork: Cut the pork shoulder into even size cubes. Season liberally with the all-purpose rub, or your rub of choice. Massage the rub in well.
  • Sear and cook the pork: Using the saute function on the Instant Pot, sear the pork pieces on all sides until browned. Top with chicken broth, and ½ a cup of barbecue sauce. Pressure cook on HIGH for 40 minutes and quick release once done.
  • Pull the pork: Transfer the pork to a mixing bowl, and using two forks, pull the pork into shreds, like the photo above. You can add ½ a cup of the cooking liquid to the pork in the mixing bowl and discard the remainder.
  • Mix the pork with barbecue sauce: Toss the pulled pork with your barbecue sauce of choice and set aside.
  • Assemble the sliders: Cut your brioche buns or Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Layer the pulled pork on the bottom buns, and add the top of the buns. Brush with butter, and bake for 10 minutes at 350°F.
  • Heat the Bush’s® Baked Beans: While the sliders are in the oven, heat the Bush’s® Baked Beans in a sauce pan, over medium heat until heated through.
  • Serve: To serve, top the pulled pork with a generous spoon of Bush’s® Baked Beans, and honey lime coleslaw [optional].

Notes

To make these even yummier, brush the top of the brioche buns with garlic butter instead of regular butter!
