Lightened Up "Fried" Pickles

These lightened up "fried" pickles are the perfect homemade substitute for your restaurant fave, and the best part? No oil required!

Ingredients

Dipping Sauce 

  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 Chipotle peppers in adobo
  • 1 tablespoon Adobo sauce

Instructions

  • Breading Prep: Create a 3-stage breading station, with flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs with seasonings in three separate in breading dishes 
  • Breading: Coat the pickles in flour and dust off excess, dip in egg, and toss and coat in the breadcrumbs. ?Dip in egg again, and back in the breadcrumbs.
  • Air Fry: Arrange the pickles in the air fryer, and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Air fry for 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees. 
  • Dipping Sauce: While the pickles are air frying, mix together the ingredients for the dipping sauce.
