Keg Copycat Cheesy Garlic Toast

As a former employee of The Keg, I sadly could never find out the recipe for my favourite appetizer, but I managed to come up with this Keg copycat cheesy garlic toast.

  • 1 Loaf Ciabatta bread sliced in half horizontally
  • ½ cup Butter softened
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • ½ cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • ½ cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • ¼ teaspoon Oregano to finish


  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Make the Garlic Spread: Mix all the ingredients except the oregano.
  • Prepare the Bread: Slice a loaf of French bread horizontally and generously spread the mix on other sides of the bread.
  • Bake: Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and browned.
  • Enjoy: Sprinkle with oregano to finish.
