Ingredients

  • 4 oz Gold tequila
  • ½ cup Fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz Simple syrup
  • ½ cup Mango juice
  • 2 cups Frozen mango
  • 2 tablespoon Tajin seasoning

Instructions

  • Rim the glasses: Using a wedge of lime, rim the glasses with lime juice. Dip the glass, lime juice side down, into a plate filled with tajin seasoning. Swish the glass around until the seasoning has adhered to the glass. Repeat for the other glass, and set aside.
    2 tablespoon Tajin seasoning
  • Assemble: Add all the ingredients to a blender.
4 oz Gold tequila, ½ cup Fresh lime juice, 2 oz Simple syrup, ½ cup Mango juice, 2 cups Frozen mango
  • Blend: Blend the mangoritas together on high power, until the fruit has broken down and the consistency is smooth.

Notes

  • If you like more of a chunky slushie, add in crushed ice to the blender. The frozen fruit will make a great, thick mangorita, but you will likely not have the same crystalline texture that you will get with ice.
  • To make these kid friendly, omit the alcohol. You may want to add some ice to give it more of a “mocktail” vibe, rather than a smoothie!
