Butter Basted Turkey
If you are of the few that find turkey to be kind of, well, boring, this butter basted turkey may just change your opinion!
Red bell pepper
Preheat oven to 325°F. Remove the gizzards and the neck bone from the turkey. Using a paper towel, pat dry the turkey skin so there is no excess moisture.
Liberally season the inside of the turkey with salt and pepper, and stuff with the garlic bulbs, lemon and thyme.
Mix together the ingredients for the flavoured butter, in a mixing bowl.
Using a pastry brush or your hands, liberally slather the turkey in all the crevices with the flavoured butter.
