Afghani Malai Chicken Tikka

This Afghani-style malai chicken tikka is a mild twist on classic chicken tikka.

INGREDIENTS

With a tangy yogurt marinade, this chicken tikka recipe gets its flavour from the tang of lime, and a hint of garam masala. Serve with an easy salad or homemade garlic naan, and dinner is served!

Step-by-step instructions!

Follow our easy instructions for success!

Add the ingredients for the marinade into a blender. Blend until the almonds, cashews and chili are all completely broken down, and the marinade is smooth.

Pour the marinade over the chicken in a mixing bowl. Let the chicken marinate for 20-30 minutes - The longer the better.

Before adding the chicken to an air fryer basket, drain off the excess marinade from the chicken. Spray with cooking spray, and air fry for 12-15 minutes at 390°F.

Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized cubes. Try to cut them into uniform-sized pieces so that they all cook at the same time and do not dry out.
